My virgin full comic strip! 请多多指教！A tribute to J.K Rowlings for the wonderful story that has still etched a deep impression in my mind.
I just realised that Harry Potter has played quite a significant part in my childhood! I started reading it when I was primary four and since then I was hooked on it. I read it while I squatted on the toiletbowl, while I was chewing on my brocoli and while I was being a potato couch!
I felt a little bit taken aback when rumours of some characters are going to die in the last book were circulating around. ( A lot people die lah, but not the main ones.)
Something worth to ponder about is: whether it is a good book or not?
It seems that any criticism of the Harry Potter books all meets with a violent response from some, as though sacred cows were at risk.
But who can write such stories with vivid imaginations and utter suspense rather than J.K Rowlings? She was able to sew little snippets of the previous chapters and form them into one big detail. It’s imaginatively derivative? Pardon me, but it was able to sustain my attention spam and allowed me stare at the pages for hours.
It was heart-warming to see how the characters have bloomed and then picking up what they have learned from their lives. Be it magic, wisdom or courage. Harry potter’s courage is derived from hatred of voldemort but he was able to neutralise it with his friendship!
The logical yet illogical world of Hogwarts, made from intelligently patchworked derivative motifs is just perfect.
So what if it didn’t contain sociology and philosophy? It has its own entertainment value.

at least he wasn’t as foul-mouthed as xiaxue. offending other bloggers that only criticized her for a little bit. i really pity ice angel for that post. xx was so bad!
